Principal
Mr. Rodriguez
My name is Jesse Rodriguez. I am one of twelve siblings. I was born in Mexico and grew up in Reedley.I received my B.A. in Liberal Studies along with my Teaching Credential at CSU Fresno. I taught my first seven years in the Kings Canyon Unified School District as a Fifth grade teacher at Lincoln Elementary with my first year being a 5/6 Combo class. The following three years led me to Fancher Creek Elementary in the Clovis Unified School District where I continued teaching Fifth grade. I taught seven years in Fourth grade at Park Avenue Elementary and four years in Third grade at Tierra Buena Elementary both in the Yuba City Unified School District.
I received my Masters in Educational Leadership from CSU Chico and began my administrative career as principal of Burchfield Primary School (TK-3rd) in Colusa Unified where I served 450 students for two years. When the opportunity arose for me to serve 4th and 5th graders again, I moved to the Gridley Unified School District where I served 610 students at Wilson Elementary School (2nd-5th) for two years. I have served a total of 25 years in education and am entering my 26th year of service. It’s my desire to serve you and our Grand View community by building relationships that strengthen community and cross lines of culture and economics in order to provide students the opportunity to reach their full potential in body, mind, and spirit.
